Prosser, Washington Panoramic View at Twilight

I ventured out recently to photograph Pan-Starrs Comet, which was forecasted to appear that evening at twilight, just to the left of where the sun set. I found a nice high spot on a hill above Prosser, Washington which I thought would be a perfect lookout. Well, I never did see that comet. Maybe it was below the ridge to the west. Maybe it was hidden in the haze, I don’t know, but the sunset didn’t disappoint. I love the beautiful sunsets we are blessed with here in Eastern Washington.

This is a very long panoramic photograph made from seven high resolution photos of the scene below me that night featuring the Yakima River, City of Prosser, I-82, Mount Adams on the left, and Mount Ranier on the right. If I were to have it printed, I would need almost six feet of wall space to hang it. Hmmmmm…
